Food Safety Hub is operated by JDCS (ABN available on request). We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). What information we collect

We collect personal information in two circumstances:

Analytics

This site uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly analytics platform. Plausible does not use cookies, does not track you across websites, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. Aggregate, anonymised traffic data (such as page views and referrers) is used to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Payment data

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not receive, store, or have access to your credit or debit card details at any point. Stripe's privacy policy governs how your payment information is handled and is available at stripe.com/au/privacy.

How we use your information

We use personal information only for the purpose for which it was collected:

• → Email addresses collected for reminders are used only to send that reminder
• → Business information collected for HACCP plan generation is used only to generate and deliver your document
• → We may send you a follow-up email related to your purchase or reminder. You can opt out at any time.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data storage and security

Personal information is stored on secure servers. We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by law.

Access and correction

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you and to request corrections if that information is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. To make such a request, contact us at the address below.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us in the first instance. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
